HRM Queen Ameenata Koita Inspires African Youth at the All Africa Conference Hosted by Youth for Human Right

HRM Queen Ameenata Koita, the Sarauniya of Fulbe in Ashanti Ghana, profoundly impacted the All Africa Conference hosted by Youth for Human Rights International. Representing the Fulbe Kingdom of Ashanti and the Sarauniya International Development Organization (SIDO), she engaged with youth, global leaders, and human rights advocates to inspire the next generation of changemakers.

Upon her arrival, Queen Ameenata was warmly welcomed by Dr. Shuttleworth, the esteemed founder of Youth for Human Rights International, along with several other distinguished leaders from across the globe. Their shared commitment to empowering youth and advancing human rights set the stage for an impactful conference that underscored the importance of leadership, education, and social responsibility.

During her visit, Queen Ameenata engaged with high school students, listening to their aspirations, challenges, and dreams for the future. She emphasized the importance of education, perseverance, and self-confidence, encouraging the students to embrace their roles as future leaders of Africa.

A significant highlight of her engagement was her visit to a childcare facility, where she spoke with young children and local leaders about the crucial role nutrition plays in a child’s ability to learn and thrive. Understanding the direct connection between proper nourishment and academic success, she advocated for greater investment in nutritional programs that support children’s well-being and cognitive development. This commitment was further reinforced when she visited a factory specializing in producing nutritional supplements. There, she observed firsthand how science and innovation are being utilized to meet the dietary needs of vulnerable populations.

The conference culminated in a powerful and dynamic speech delivered by Queen Ameenata, where she passionately called upon Africa’s youth to step into leadership roles—not in the future, but today. She underscored the urgency of youth-led action in shaping Africa’s trajectory, referencing themes from an earlier speech where she spoke about self-determination, cultural pride, and the responsibility of young people to uphold human rights.

“Africa’s youth are not just tomorrow’s leaders—they are today’s leaders. It is time for young minds to rise, innovate, and take charge of the future they envision,” she declared. Her words resonated deeply, leaving an indelible mark on the audience and inspiring young leaders to take action in their respective communities.

HRM Queen Ameenata’s presence at the All Africa Conference reinforced her unwavering dedication to youth empowerment, education, and sustainable development. Her advocacy continues to inspire a generation of African youth to lead with purpose, integrity, and a commitment to human rights.

As she carries forward the mission of the Fulbe Kingdom of Ashanti and SIDO, Queen Ameenata remains steadfast in her pursuit of a more just, equitable, and empowered Africa. Her leadership is a beacon of hope, illuminating the path for young leaders ready to shape the continent’s future.
