The Fulbe Kingdom in Ashanti, Ghana, proudly announces that Her Royal Majesty Queen Ameenata Koita has officially been invited as a featured speaker at the prestigious 20th International Human Rights Summit hosted by Youth for Human Rights International. The global summit will take place from July 30th through August 1st, 2026, at the historic United Nations Headquarters in New York City.

The International Human Rights Summit is recognized worldwide as one of the leading gatherings dedicated to promoting human dignity, youth empowerment, equality, justice, and global cooperation. The annual event brings together diplomats, humanitarian leaders, educators, activists, nonprofit organizations, students, and distinguished changemakers from around the world to discuss innovative solutions to some of the most pressing human rights challenges facing humanity today.

Queen Ameenata’s invitation as a featured speaker reflects the growing international recognition of her humanitarian leadership, advocacy for women and children, and commitment to community development across the African continent and the African Diaspora. As the founder of the Sarauniya International Development Organization (SIDO), she has led numerous initiatives focused on maternal health, girls’ education, menstrual health awareness, women’s empowerment, medical outreach, and humanitarian relief throughout Ghana and beyond.

Over the past several years, Queen Ameenata has represented the Fulbe Kingdom and SIDO at major international forums and conferences, including United Nations events in both Geneva and New York City, where she has consistently advocated for the advancement of marginalized communities and increased investment in sustainable development initiatives across Africa.

During the summit, Queen Ameenata is expected to address delegates on the importance of preserving human dignity through education, healthcare access, cultural preservation, and economic empowerment. Her presentation will also highlight the importance of global partnerships in addressing maternal mortality, supporting vulnerable populations, and creating pathways for youth leadership and social transformation.

Speaking on the invitation, representatives from the Fulbe Kingdom noted that Queen Ameenata’s participation symbolizes the continued rise of African traditional leadership on the global stage and demonstrates the critical role that cultural institutions can play in advancing peace, humanitarian service, and international cooperation.

The Fulbe Kingdom in Ashanti and SIDO extended their appreciation to Youth for Human Rights International for recognizing Queen Ameenata’s work and for creating a platform that amplifies voices committed to defending and promoting human rights around the world.

As preparations begin for the summit, supporters, partners, and members of the international community look forward to Queen Ameenata’s participation and the powerful message she will bring to the world stage at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City.
